A Day in the Life of NFC
These days, a small chip is changing the world.
It is a new technology called Near Field Communication (NFC). NFC allows allows for very short range communication by using high frequency transmission between chips embedded in mobile devices (such as a smartphone or a tablet). If users wave their NFC enabled device, NFC quickly transfers information when chips are in close proximity to another without physical contact, usually within ten centimeters. The mobile marketing applications for near field communications is still a relatively new field for businesses and has a lot of potential in the future.
